About me
L.A. county lady and lover of films, comics and books.Occupation: student
About my collections
My favorite film genres are horror, documentary, mafia, western, vampire and black comedy. I just recently got into westerns, so I haven't seen many yet. I detest Guy Ritchie-style British gangster movies, and I have no idea why..I just do. I also mostly hate English period piece films. I think this is because my parents forced me to see these in the theater with them as a child.I own DVDs from both the U.S. and the U.K., and I've tried to indicate if a DVD is from region 2 where possible.
My music taste is pretty varied but my favorite genres are: classic rock, oldschool house, electronic, trip hop, shoegaze, darkwave, goth, alternative rock, and indie. I also like hip-hop, rap, reggae and oldschool country. The only genres I can think of that I really hate are smooth jazz and contemporary christian.
I've included both physical CDs and iTunes albums in my music collection.
EDIT: I've recently started collecting graphic novels and trade paperbacks as well as as comic books..mostly Batman-related. The trades and novels are in my book collection.

"You put some great things on this list! If anyone else has actually seen God Told Me To I'd be shocked, it's incredibly weird. Also The Tingler, The Wicker Man, and Whatever Happened To Baby Jane are "
"I feel the same way about All-Star that I do about R.I.P. The story/story-telling is crazy, but the art and the fun ride makes up for it. Frank Miller and Grant Morrisson are both taking crazy pills r"
